WHO ARE YOU REALLY, HELLE?

Q: If you could spend a day in someone else’s shoes, whose would they be?

A: I would like to put myself in the shoes of one of the world’s highest ranked executive women in business. I’d like to truly understand what it entails to be successful in the corporate world as an executive leader. Replacing the likes of Sheryl Sandberg COO of Facebook could be really interesting, and also very daunting.

Q: What’s been on your mind lately?

A: Home renovations. I go through these phases of outside interests when I am not training. Very recently having bought a new home in Denmark, I am enjoying the process of planning interior layouts. It is a nice escape from training and sport.

Q: What’s the first career you dreamed of having as a kid?

A: I always dreamt of being a swimmer in the Olympics. It really was a big attraction for me, now I look back and think it was a little bit of a crazy career to dream, but in many ways, whilst not a swimmer, you could say I got there :-D - I think my parents were really good at allowing me to be competitive at a young age, and I believe that is healthy for children.

Q: What is your guilty pleasure?

A: Chocolate and liqourice. At the end of a long training day, I really enjoy switching the brain off and doing this with a chopping board filled with chopped dark chocolate pieces and fresh Danish liqourice is so gooood!
