Fe226 was created to introduce sportswear that will help you go beyond your limits. Sportswear in such a high quality, and with such unique features, that each item is good enough to be the only one you own.

The reason for this is twofold. Firstly, we want to offer you the best available kit out there. Secondly, we have a belief that good quality will reduce overconsumption and use-and-throwaway behaviour.

Made in Europe

This also implies, that we only produce in European factories that are socially and environmentally responsible, that we only use high-quality, locally sourced fabrics, and that we always produce in smaller batches. You can read more about our product dogmas here.

We are doing all of this, because it is the right thing to do. However, it comes at a price.

• In Europe, 30-40% of the manufacturing cost is materials, and the fabrics we choose often cost 2-3 times more than "normal" fabrics
• Producing small batches is 20-50% more expensive than producing in large batches (which is why destruction of over-production is cheaper than small batch production)
• Salaries in Europe are 4-8 times higher than in Far East Asia
• European fabrics are 2-4 times more expensive

This is why our prices are comparably higher. And why you can expect them to become even higher, as we move forward towards even better materials and more sustainable manufacturing. But this is also the reason why each item is good enough to be the only one you own.
